What is 9Router?
9Router is a self-hosted AI router for coding tools. It puts one OpenAI-compatible endpoint in front of 40+ providers and 100+ models, so Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Cline, Copilot, Antigravity, Gemini, OpenCode and OpenClaw can all share the same pool of provider accounts.
Key Features
- One endpoint in front of 40+ providers and 100+ models
- Automatic fallback to free or cheaper models when a provider rate-limits you
- RTK request compression, which the project reports as 20-40% token savings
- Installs from npm, Docker or GitHub Container Registry
- MIT licensed, with configuration stored on your own machine
How to Access
Install the npm package, pull the Docker image, or build from the repository, then point your coding client at the local endpoint. You supply the provider credentials, so review repository guidance before adding third-party tokens.
